The victim of a road accident in Highland Perthshire at the weekend has been named by Tayside Police.
Grant Farquharson (34), of Orchard Brae Gardens, Edinburgh, died on the B846 Kinloch Rannoch to Rannoch Station Road on Sunday evening.
Mr Farquharson was driving his black Mazda MX3 car on the road, which runs along the north shore of Loch Rannoch, when it left the road and collided with a tree.
He was found by a passing motorist at around 7.10pm but was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Farquharson driving his car in the area prior to the accident.Tayside Police can be contacted by calling 0300 111 2222.
