She was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee by ambulance with head injuries following the one-vehicle accident on the A85 Crieff to Comrie road. It happened two miles west of Crieff shortly before 4pm, closing the road in both directions. Tayside Police said the woman had suffered ”potentially serious” injuries in the accident. The road remained closed for hours while the vehicle was recovered and efforts were made to establish the cause of the accident. No other vehicle was involved in the accident and no one else was injured.
