Scone Palace was the historic backdrop for a performance by pipers and drummers from Canada and North America.
The Can-Am Pipes and Drums have travelled from Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto and the US for a two-week tour of Scotland, which is almost at an end.
Yesterday they gathered at the historic 16th Century archway then paraded down towards the palace where they performed for an hour for visitors to the attraction.
Lady Stormont was among those enjoying the spectacle on a beautiful summer’s day. The band, which has toured Scotland several times in the past, leaves for home on Wednesday.
Over the past two weeks the Can-Am Pipes and Drums have performed at multiple venues while make the most of some free time to take in the sights.
Their itinerary took in Glencoe, Inverness, Peterhead, Dunfermline, Dundee, and the border towns of Melrose, Jedburgh and Hawick.
