A Perthshire family are delighted to be reunited with three puppies that had been stolen from their home.
The three border collie pups, all female, were snatched from Glenalbert Farm, Dalguise, Dunkeld, on Friday.
One dog was recovered at the South Inch, Perth, on Saturday while the other two were handed in to Blairgowrie Police Station on Sunday evening.
Jamie Donaldson said all her family were both “relieved” and “delighted” to have the puppies back home with them.
“It’s wonderful as I began to think we wouldn’t see them again,” she said.
“We were told the other two pups, both black and white, were found in the Rattray area of Blairgowrie. They were both hungry so we have been giving them some canned rice pudding.”
A police spokesman confirmed that a 24-year-old man has been charged with regard to the alleged thefts. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
