This year will mark an exciting time for Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
Provost Liz Grant officially marked the start of the 2014 season, following extensive improvement works. As part of the civic reception, invited guests were given a private tour of the venue and the current exhibitions.
Highlights of the 2014 programme include the Secret Egypt display, which has been devised by the Herbert Gallery and Birmingham Museums Trust and will unveil Perth’s very own mummy.
Visitors can also reminisce about the golden age of photojournalism, which unveils the life of a press photographer from the 1930s to the 1960s.
