A Perthshire holiday chalet has been badly damaged in a late-night fire.
Flames tore through the roof of Horsey Reach Lodge in Stanley before spreading along the walls of the main living areajust after 10pm on Saturday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Perth Road, where the wooden building was found to be “well alight”.
Firefighters from Perth, Dunkeld and Dundee tackled the blaze for almost two hours.
The lodge was unoccupied when the blaze broke out.
A spokesman from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Three appliances attended from Perth, one from Dunkeld and the heavy rescue unit attended from Dundee.
“We received reports of a two-storey wooden chalet which was well alight. The fire was on the first floor in the roof area.
“Two hose reels and two main reels were used intermittently to extinguish the fire.”
Crews remained on the scene until just before midnight and fire investigation teams returned on Sunday morning.
