Racing fans are being urged to join the latest trend for selfies by posting photos of themselves at events in Perth.
As part of efforts to get people more involved with the 2014 season, Perth Racecourse has unveiled its latest initiative.
Organisers are keen for those attending to share their best images and selfies on social media by using the hashtag, PappedatPerth.
General manager Sam Morshead said: “We have a busy year ahead of us, with 16 events lined up to attract racing enthusiasts from near and far and the cream of the horseracing world.
“Spending a day at the races is a fun experience and there are always plenty of people capturing memories on camera.
“We want people, both competitors and the public, to share these moments with us by posting their photos online on Facebook and Twitter with the PappedatPerth hashtag phrase.
“Last year we captured several famous faces at our racecourse Prince Charles, Ally McCoist, Gavin Hastings, Neil Lennon and Ryan Mania to name a few.”
The first event at Perth Racecourse takes place on April 23, with the start of the three-day McBookie.com Perth Festival.
