Members hoping to get new Perth Ultimate Frisbee Club off the ground

A sports club will launch in Perth next month and is looking for members.

The newly-founded Perth Ultimate Frisbee Club will host weekly sessions from Thursday on the North Inch, in front of Bell’s Sports Centre.

Ultimate Frisbee is an international sport that has been growing in popularity for years. The game is played on a pitch with two end zones and seven players on each team, with points scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone.

In the USA, there are approximately 5.1 million players and there are two professional leagues operating in North America.

The club will meet every Thursday at 5.30pm and people of all abilities are welcome to take part or go along to find out more. For details email perthultimatefrisbee@gmail.com.
