St Johnstone fans will travel to the Scottish Cup final in style after flocking to a bespoke Perth designer for their big-day attire.
Ever since Saints secured a date with Dundee United at Celtic Park sporran-maker Marcus Eagleton has found himself inundated with requests for accessories.
He and mother Janet have been working day and night to meet demand for sporrans, handbags and purses in the official club tartan.
In fact, Marcus confessed he’d run out of the tartan and was pleading with his suppliers longstanding Perth firm The House of Edgar for a new delivery.
It’s a sign that fans are pulling out all the stops to make the most of their first trip to the Scottish Cup final.
The Eagleton brand is renowned for its traditional, hand-crafted sporrans, which have been worn by a number of stars, including Samuel L Jackson.
In recent years he has diversified and is creating a host of alternative items.
They’ve included a sporran made out of the American football Scottish-born kicker Lawrence Tynes used in the 2008 Super Bowl and examples bearing comic book characters.
