The Queen’s Baton will arrive in Perth by boat.
It will be carried through the grounds of Scone Palace before heading down the Tay to the city.
On May 11 the baton arrived back in Britain after its tour of the Commonwealth and will be carried across the country by 4,000 baton bearers to Glasgow.
Perth teenager Stephen Milne, who is a Commonwealth Games athlete, promoted the baton’s visit to the GWCT Scottish Game Fair at Scone in July.
Thousands of visitors to the 26th fair will welcome the baton on its opening day of Friday July 4 around 5pm. The baton will be carried through the fair site before embarking on a river boat trip to Perth.
GWCT Scottish Game Fair director David Noble, said: “We are privileged to host the Queen’s Baton Relay and celebrate Perthshire’s part to play in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to enjoy a great day out and show support for the baton bearers.
“We wish Stephen Milne and all the Scottish Commonwealth athletes the best of luck in the games.”
Stephen ,19, is a performance swimmer who has been part of the Scottish gold squad for three years.
