Perth teen to skydive in memory of her grandfather

A Perth teenager has decided to do a parachute jump in memory of her grandad.
Former Community School of Auchterarder pupil Hayley Clow, 17, will be doing the jump at Strathallan Airfield for the Macmillan Support Group and Cornhill Care Group in Perth.
“Sadly, my grandad Bert Young, from Perth, passed away in December and I decided I wanted to do something in his memory and take on a challenge,” she said.
“My grandad was in Cornhill in Perth and supported by Macmillan so it seemed the obvious choice.
“I’ve got involved with helping out with the local fundraising group and I think the committee like having someone young to help them and someone enthusiastic about what they are trying to do ie raise as much money as possible locally for such a worthwhile cause.
“I’m doing my parachute jump on my grandad’s birthday on July 19.”
