Comedian Ross Noble is putting his fate in the hands of the people of Perthshire today. Locals are being urged to give him suggestions for things to do as he films the latest series of his Twitter-powered travelogue, Freewheeling. As he travels along the A9 from Perth to Helmsdale, Noble will be following instructions posted on social media. Earlier this morning, he put out a request to his 445,000 followers to “tweet me stuff along the way, I may turn up”. He has also started a quest to bring a motivational message from musician Billy Ocean to anyone called Brian. This is the second series of Freewheeling, which was a big hit on television channel Dave last year. The first series saw Noble crashing a stranger’s wedding and giving a speech, holding a porcelain pet show and battling a street preacher. On this latest trip, the bar has been set high with a proposed visit to Barbara Cartland-themed chip shop, La Mirage in Helmsdale. Where should Ross Noble go?
