Commonwealth Games medal hopeful Eilidh Child will be backed by the town of her birth as she bids to write her name into the history books.
A giant good luck message has been revealed by children at Perth Grammar School, where she used to teach.
Eilidh is making final preparations for Glasgow 2014 and is in excellent form, having triumphed in the 400 metres hurdles at the Glasgow Grand Prix earlier this month.
She hopes to become the first Scottish woman for two decades to win a Commonwealth title at the games, which start next week.
And the SSE Home Nation ambassador was given a motivational boost with children making out a giant message of support, reading “Come on @EilidhChild #GOSCO”.
Eilidh said: “It’s going to be an amazing feeling to race on home turf at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
“I know the support from the home crowd will be phenomenal.”
