Police hunt football fans who caused trouble on train

A GANG of football fans who caused a disturbance on a train from Perth are being hunted by police.
British Transport Police say the group of six or seven men were seen behaving in an anti-social manner after the Glasgow-Inverness service left the Fair City on December 22.
They believe the group, who began chanting, swearing and dancing on tables, were returning from an SPL game.
PC Nick Ritchie, the investigating officer, said: “The men’s behaviour was entirely inappropriate and caused a disturbance to others.
“If anyone was travelling on the service and saw the incident, I would urge you to get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
