The man and woman were rushed to Ninewells Hospital following the crash, which happened at around 2.45pm east of Spittalfield. A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said the man suffered leg and pelvic injuries while the woman had possibly injured her pelvis. Both casualties are thought to have been riding the motorbike. The accident occurred on the Coupar Angus to Dunkeld road. Tayside Police closed the road for several hours.
