Perth cyclist dies after colliding with parked van

A cyclist involved in an accident in Perth has died from his injuries.
He was named today as 52-year-old David Wallace of Grange Terrace, Perth.
Mr Wallace was riding a grey mountain bike when he collided with a white van parked in West Mains Avenue near the junction with Errochty Grove.
The accident happened at 2.45pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Police Scotland, Tayside Division, said: “Mr Wallace’s family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.
“They do not wish to make any further comments and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
