Car ends up in garden after crash on A9

Residents of a Perthshire cottage had a rude awakening when a car careered into the front garden this morning.

The vehicle smashed through a wall after being involved in a collision on the A9 shortly before 8am.

Emergency services were called to the scene, near Tibbermore, after receiving reports of a two-vehicle accident on the northbound carriageway.

An Isuzu Trooper 4×4 collided with a Mercedes and one of the vehicles ended up in the garden of a row of cottages at the side of the road.

A spokeswoman from Police Scotland’s Tayside Division confirmed nobody had been injured.
