Police are hunting two men who assaulted another man in Perth city centre.
A 54-year-old man suffered a head injury in the incident, which took place between 4pm and 4.35pm on Monday in Elibank Street.
A police spokesman said: “The victim was walking along the street when two men assaulted and attempted to rob him. He refused their demands and they made off empty-handed.”
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for a head injury but his condition is not thought to be serious.
One of the attackers is described as 5ft 9in, of thin build and had on dark clothing at the time. People can contact police on 101.
