The Highland Perthshire home of Lady the Osprey was described as a jewel in the region’s crown as MSP John Swinney enjoyed a guided visit.
Mr Swinney met Loch of the Lowes ranger Emma Rawling and senior figures from the Scottish Wildlife Trust as he viewed the reserve.
He said: “I am always delighted to be asked to visit one of the many fabulous tourist attractions that Perthshire has to offer.
“The stunning reserve at Loch of the Lowes is one of the many jewels that make up the area with the famous Lady osprey and her chick bringing in so many visitors.”
