Perth journalist Graham Phillips detained by Ukrainian National Guard

The Foreign Office has intervened after a journalist from Perth was detained by the Ukraine authorities.
Graham Phillips, 35 who went to Perth High School and studied at Dundee University was working for television station Russia Today when he was held at a checkpoint in the east of the country.
Mr Phillips was last in contact with Russia Today at 3.20pm on Tuesday.
He was reported to have been taken to Kiev by the Ukrainian National Guard who had confiscated his mobile phone.
Friends from Perth of the journalist, who has lived in Odessa and Kiev in recent years, are hoping for a speedy resolution to his detention.
