Ramblers recruiting for Tayside Young Walkers

Volunteers are being sought to support a new walking group set up by Ramblers Scotland.

Tayside Young Walkers is aimed at getting people aged between 20 and 40 years outdoors by hosting various events.

The group was launched earlier this year and a team of dedicated volunteers is required to develop and organised walks.

They would also be required to lead activities, plan social events and create an exciting and varied programme of outdoor pursuits.

Walks have already been held in Perthshire, including up Birnam Hill and along the Loch Leven Heritage Trail.

An information event will be held at Tiso on the Inveralmond Industrial Estate on June 9 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
