Driver had to swerve to avoid careless A9 motorist

A disqualified driver has admitted forcing another motorist to swerve out of his way on Scotland’s most dangerous road.
Lukasz Wojtowicz caused the driver to take evasive action on the A9, near Luncarty, on June 3.
Perth Sheriff Court heard the other driver briefly lost control of the vehicle.
Solicitor Sarah Meechan said Wojtowicz supported two children in Poland and asked Sheriff Fiona Tait to bail him as remanding him would result in him losing his job.
Wojtowicz, of Whitburn, West Lothian, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention by overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic, and to driving while disqualified and without insurance.
All three offences took place while he was on two separate bail orders from Livingston Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Tait deferred sentence on the 29-year-old for reports and remanded him in custody until his next appearance on July 30.
