Billy Connolly has added another date in Dundee to his Scottish tour to cope with demand. The Scots comedy legend will now also take to the Dundee stage on Sunday October 12 as well as Saturday October 11. Meanwhile dozens of comedy fans have queuing from the early hours to secure tickets for his latest tour. The first in line at Perth Concert Hall waited from 3.30am on Friday for the doors to open. Janette Whannel waited with a jovial group of friends to secure her place at the Big Yin’s first Scottish tour in five years. She said: “I was among the first here. I’m a big fan of Billy Connolly – he’s an icon. He’s a big name and it’s great to have him come here to Perth.” The comedian will perform at Perth Concert Hall on October 1.
