Ladies Day at Perth Races got off to a winning start with hundreds of women dressing to impress for the annual event.
As one of the most glamorous events in the Scottish calendar, women flock to the seven-race meeting in their posh frocks.
Although the sun did not shine much there was no shortage of colourful, glamorous and risque outfits.
Organisers decided to make the famous event really count six years ago and brought on board Breakthrough Breast Cancer as their charity element.
Last year, Ladies Day raised a record-breaking £21,000 which was then matched by an unnamed sponsor to take the total to £42,000.Ladies Day at a gallophttps://

As no Ladies Day outfit would be complete without a pink feather boa there was the opportunity to buy one from the Breakthrough team at the races, giving punters another chance to donate to charity while looking good.
Sales manager Tracey Quin said: “Our decision six years ago to turn this great Ladies Day at Perth into a fundraiser for Breakthrough Breast Cancer has made it even more special, touching the hearts of many.”
Radio Tay presenter Stuart Webster was on the main stage where there was entertainment all day long, including The Dreammen and The Best of The Boy Bands tribute act to get racegoers dancing in the grandstand.
