Facebook missing pets group marks 500th reunion milestone

A Facebook page dedicated to finding lost pets is celebrating its 500th reunion.

Missing Pets Perth and Kinross Scotland regularly posts appeals online, asking the public to be on the lookout for dogs and cats which have disappeared from across the region.

Yesterday the page which was started less than two years ago announced that it had reached 500 successful posts.

Katie McCandless, who helps run the page, told The Courier: “We have reached quite a big milestone with the page 500 happy reunions.

“I think we will all agree that is just amazing, to have been able to help so many pets in under two years.”
