A Perth man who featured in a TV documentary series about a radical project to help young offenders has been found dead.
Raymond Urquhart, 33, was found dead on Monday afternoon, after a suspected drug overdose.
He was one of the main people featured in the hit Chancers series, which focused on the work of a criminal rehabilitation centre.
A police spokesman confirmed the body of a man had been discovered at premises in the city.
“Police Scotland attended at the Skinnergate area of Perth on Monday at 1.15pm, after the sudden death of a 33-year-old man,” he said.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
Chancers focused on the controversial Airborne Initiative scheme and Mr Urquhart was shown as one of the criminals who completed the course. The scheme was axed in the wake of the show, which featured him taking drugs and clashing with course leaders.
The Airborne Initiative was scrapped in 2004, after funding was withdrawn.
