The speed limit on the A9 is to be reduced for three nights to allow £122,000 of roadworks to take place.
Beginning tonight, the improvements are planned for a one-kilometre stretch of the route from Blackford to Gleneagles.
A convoy system will be in operation between 7.30pm and 6.30am, with a 10mph speed limit to help keep workers and motorists safe during the works.
Andy Thompson, of Bear Scotland, said: “These works will repair a number of cracks and potholes, which will improve the general condition of the road for motorists.
“These works are being carried out overnight to minimise delays.”
