Perth and Kinross Association of Voluntary Service (PKAVS) marked the retirement of director and chairman Stephen Bolland from its board of directors after nearly six years’ service with a reception held at The Gateway in Perth.
He first got involved with PKAVS as a volunteer in 2008 and helped project manage the charity’s largest ever fundraising event, PKAVS Party in the Park.
After this success, Mr Bolland was invited to join the board as a director and was elected as chairman in 2012.
Replacing him in the role is PKAVS director Andy Chan who first became involved with the charity as part of a steering group for PKAVS Minority Communities Hub in 2010.
