Inverness Caledonian Thistle players celebrated their first Scottish Cup win with a fish supper in Auchterarder at the weekend.
Fresh from battering Falkirk at Hampden – the peckish players stopped off to pick up a post-match meal on their way home to the Highlands.
The cup heroes brought traffic to a standstill in the town centre as crowds gathered to see super Caley go ballistic with a victory dance in the middle of the main road whilst holding the famous trophy aloft.
Gillian Giannandrea, whose family own The Fish & Chip Company shop, said: “The team always stop off at us for a fish supper if they are playing around her.
“The coach stopped outside and a few of the players and officials came in to pick up their order and brought the trophy.
“The staff asked if we could have a photo with them and the cup – and then others came in and got their photos with them.
“They were only too pleased to oblige It was a fantastic atmosphere in the town.
“They got back on the coach to eat their fish suppers, and headed up to Inverness to get more partying done.”
