Mourners gathered to pay respects to a young Perth mother tragically found dead following an asthma attack.
Lydia Macdonald was discovered at her Lickley Court home on June 10, with her toddler son Mason understood to have survived by her side for at least two days.
Family and friends attended her funeral at Perth Crematorium on Friday wearing bright colours as a celebration of the 28-year-old’s life.
The congregation heard of a woman with a “big heart” whose son “was her life”.
Celebrant Gwen Walker said: “She was the most wonderful mum her wee boy could ask for and he had the best of everything.”
Dundee-born Lydia attended Meigle Primary and Blairgowrie High School and had suffered from asthma since the age of two.
