An elderly man who died in a road accident in Dunkeld on Friday has been named by police. Alexander Jessiman, who was 86 and from Caputh, suffered fatal injuries in the one-vehicle crash on the A923 Dunkeld to Blairgowrie road. Inquires into the accident are continuing and any witnesses are asked to phone 101. As with all sudden deaths, a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
