The future of Perth City Hall was thrown back into the melting pot after councillors deferred a decision on two rescue plans. Councillor Ian Miller said he was unconvinced about the viability of either a hotel or market hall. By a vote of 26 to nine the councillors agreed to defer a decision until October to allow them to raise their concerns with Historic Scotland.
