Scone woman admits twice drink-driving on same road

A 60-year-old Scone woman has admitted drink-driving on the same road twice in just over a month.
Claire Allan, Knowehead Terrace, admitted driving on June 6 on the A94, Perth Road, Scone, with 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 22 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres.
She also admitted drink driving on the same road on July 9 when she was found to have 50 microgrammes of alcohol in her breath.
Allan pled guilty to a further charge of failing to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on July 7.
Sheriff William Wood deferred sentence until next month for the production of criminal justice social work reports.
