T in the Park: Noel Gallagher ready to close festival on a high note
ByPress Association
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will bring T in the Park to a close tonight after sets from artists including Paloma Faith, Ella Eyre and the Stereophonics.
Fans have already enjoyed performances from last night’s headline act Avicii, and other big names including Jessie J, The Script and Twin Atlantic.
The sun is shining and organisers will be hoping the festival’s first year at Strathallan ends on a high after another night of traffic chaos marred many fans’ enjoyment on Saturday.
The line-up today also features The Prodigy, Idlewild and Clean Bandit.
Police Scotland last night reported 28 arrests at the event so far.
They also reported the death of a man, 36, who was found in a campsite on the Strathallan site.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Colin Rodger, event manager for T in the Park, said of the death: “We are extremely saddened by this news, and our thoughts are with the family at this time.
“We’re doing everything possible to help emergency services with their inquiries.”
