ByThe Courier Reporter
A 55-year-old Auchterarder man is to stand trial accused of driving dangerously towards four men working near his home.
Timothy Mark Liddiard, 55, North Mains Farm, pled not guilty to the charge at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Liddiard was accused of, on June 22 at the private roadway leading into North Mains Farm, recklessly driving a motor vehicle at excessive speed towards people carrying out works on the road there, to the danger of the lieges.
It is alleged he caused four men to take evasive action to avoid being struck by his vehicle and caused gravel from the roadway to be thrown up and onto the people working there.
He is due to stand trial in November.
