Former SNP leader criticises party candidate’s role in securing T in Park funding

Former SNP leader Gordon Wilson has criticised a former aide to Alex Salmond over her role in securing £150,000 from the Scottish Government for T in the Park.
Holyrood SNP candidate Jennifer Dempsie brokered a meeting between DF Concerts and Scottish Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop.
Mr Wilson said “The SNP should toughen up on relationships of ministers, MSPs, MPs and MEPs with all lobbyists, regardless of their affiliations.
“This is all the more important given the new prominence of the party and its access to patronage.
“The party’s code of conduct should be reviewed at the highest level.”
