A Perth boy is still receiving hospital treatment following a freak accident.
The four-year-old is said to be in a serious but stable condition at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh after suffering cuts when a heavy mirror collapsed on top of him at his great-grandparents’ home in Nimmo Avenue, Perth.
Emergency services were called to the home of Roger and Maureen McHarg around 5pm on Tuesday last week. The youngster was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, before being transferred to Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
A spokesman for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said: “The boy remains in hospital. His condition is still serious but stable.”
