A Perth man has been fined £360 after operating a tattoo parlour for nearly two years without a licence.
Thomas Pasifull, 55, claimed Perth and Kinross Council had not told him his licence to run his Inkin2Skin business on Atholl Street had expired.
Pasifull had been at the premises for seven years and told police officers: “I didn’t realise I was doing anything wrong. The council didn’t inform me.”
He admitted that between June 11 2013 and January 29 2015 at 36 Atholl Street, Perth, he, without reasonable excuse, carried on a business which provided tattooing services without having a licence.
Sheriff Fiona Tait fined Pasifull £360.
