Martin Wood admitted injuring Rebecca Moore by throwing the fruit at her in Gowrie Place, Errol, on December 27. He also pled guilty to spitting on her and striking her on the head with his hand during the attack. Wood, of Braehead Terrace, Methven Walk, Dundee, admitted a further charge of butting Andrew Scott on the face to his injury. The 44-year-old also admitted failing to cooperate with a preliminary breath test and also lashing out with his hands and feet at police officers. Perth Sheriff Court heard that Wood had previous convictions for similar offences. Sheriff William Wood put sentencing off until the end of the month for social work reports and a restriction of liberty order assessment. Sheriff Wood said: “No doubt something happened and Mr Wood then kicked off. “I cannot deal with this today in light of his record and the nature and number of charges.”
