Several Courier Country communities are braced for more rain today, with flood warnings in place due to the incessant rain that has hit most of the country.
With a Met Office yellow (be aware) warning issued for Tayside, Fife, Central, Strathclyde, south-west Scotland and the Borders yesterday, many residents are on the alert as more rain is forecast this week.
Motorists were warned yesterday of flooding on the A9 Perth to Stirling road at Greenloaning, with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency reporting flood warnings from Crieff to Innerpeffray and from Innerpeffray to Bridge of Earn.
Residents in Comrie will be particularly concerned as two severe floods devastated the Strathearn village last year.
