A motorist who crashed after driving more than 30 miles in an erratic manner has been banned from the road.
Simon Reader, 45, of Bishop Auckland, was given the interim disqualification at Perth Sheriff Court after he admitted driving dangerously on Friday. He will be sentenced at a later date.
He travelled at excessive speed on the Kingsway in Dundee and the A90 and M90 as far as Inverkeithing, failed to keep control of his vehicle at a roundabout, mounted a kerb, undertook vehicles and swerved between lanes, causing others to act to avoid a crash, eventually losing control and colliding with the central reservation, damaging his car and that of another driver.
Reader also admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath.
