A pensioner died after being crushed by debris at her home in Perthshire, it has emerged.
The 66-year-old is believed to have lain dead at her Scone property for several days before she was found.
It is thought the woman, who has not been named, was trying to move wall panels that had been stored at her home when the accident happened last month.
A Scone resident said: “We heard there were a number of wet wall panels stacked up in the house and she had maybe been trying to shift them when they fell on her.
“I didn’t know the lady but she must have lived on her own, as she supposedly wasn’t discovered for a couple of days.”
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland, working with the Health and Safety Executive, investigated the death on Tuesday November 10. A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
