Postcode Lottery: neighbours strike it lucky in Blairgowrie

Two Perthshire residents are celebrating after their postcode won the Saturday Street prize in the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The address PH13 9HB in Blairgowrie proved lucky for Stuart Robertson, 56, and David Wheatley, 42, who have received £20,000 each.

Mr Robertson said he was pleasantly surprised to be told of the win.

“I’ve only been playing a couple of months but never expected to win this much,” he said.

Equally delighted, Mr Wheatley said that he already has plans for the windfall.

“We’ll certainly use some of the money for the kitchen and put some towards the mortgage,” he added.
