A Perth man who was never sent to prison despite committing 25 crimes over 17 years has been allowed to walk free from court again.
Steven Gallacher, 47, was given a community-based sentence on Tuesday after being found guilty of repeatedly punching Donna Freeman on the head to her injury at a house in Ritchie Place, Perth, on October 16.
Sheriff Simon Collins ordered Gallacher to attend the Positive Relations group project for domestic abusers and told him to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work in the community.
Gallacher hit the headlines in 2013 when he was jailed for the first time despite his previous appalling criminal record.
