A man has appeared in court accused of attacking a woman with a lightsaber.
James Williamson denies striking her with the Star Wars toy on July 26.
It alleged the 25-year-old, a prisoner of HMP Perth, assaulted a woman by repeatedly striking her on the legs with a belt and with the lightsaber at her home on Dunsinane Drive, Perth.
He also faces allegations of biting her on the neck and arms to her injury.
Williamson further denies behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by entering the property in Letham and, on being refused entry, breaking a window and climbing through before uttering threats of violence to his alleged victim.
He is also alleged to have assaulted the woman by seizing hold of her hair and repeatedly kicking her on the body to her injury.
A final charge alleges he conducted himself in a disorderly manner by barricading himself into the property, threatening police officers while brandishing a knife at them, shouting that he was in possession of firearms and a knife and that he would kill them if they attempted to arrest him.
Williamson will next appear at Perth Sheriff Court on November 14.
