VIDEO: Blairgowrie dentists get to the root of Robert Burns’ genius

Suffering from the “venom’d stang” of toothache is no laughing matter, as Robert Burns once testified.

Nevertheless, a team of Perthshire dentists have injected their own brand of humour into the Bard’s address to “thou hell o’ a’ diseases”.

Taking inspiration from his Ayrshire roots and his knowledge of Scotland’s poet, Neil Rutherford enlisted his colleagues at Blairgowrie Dental Care for a special tribute.

Following the success of a similar initiative last year, which saw several local businesses recording a festive message, he decided to create a fun video in time for Burns’ Night.
