‘Bra amnesty’ in Perth collects lots of lingerie to support good causes
ByThe Courier Reporter
A “bra amnesty” at a Perth business has collected more than 1,000 bras which will be sent to Africa to be reused.
The effort by the customers of lingerie shop Miss Forsyth on South Street will also help charity closer to home with a donation based on the weight of bras going to Against Breast Cancer.
Shop manager Jennifer Scott-Marnoch said the appeal had captured the imagination of customers from all over Scotland who were pleased to donate old ill-fitting bras for a good cause.
