A man who denied carrying out a sex act on a Perth bus by exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl has been found not guilty after trial.
Sheriff Fiona Tait told Perth Sheriff Court she was “not satisfied” beyond reasonable doubt that the evidence given by the Crown against Andrzej Tracz, 48, of Sandpiper Gardens, Perth, was sufficient to find him guilty.
Tracz had denied a charge that on February 18, in the course of a public bus journey travelling in Perth, he intentionally exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl by carrying out a sex act on the vehicle.
Solicitor Paul Ralph appeared for Tracz as defence counsel.
He said CCTV footage taken from the bus that evening showed his client standing up and leaving the vehicle.
Mr Ralph stressed that the footage recorded did not show his client exposing himself.
“There is insufficient evidence to corroborate this incident,” he told the court.
