A drug dealer got himself arrested immediately after being freed from jail so he could fill his socks with £3,000 worth of cannabis to take back to prison.
Paul Gibson was released from Perth Prison on April 10 and went shoplifting over the weekend so he could get back to the prison the following day.
He had used his weekend of freedom to stuff nearly 150 grams of cannabis into various socks in the bag he took back to jail.
At Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Gibson was jailed for another two years when he admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis in Perth Prison on April 14.
Depute fiscal Gavin Letford said the drugs were worth £3,150.
