Motorcyclist seriously hurt in accident near Bridge of Earn

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in an early-morning accident near Perth today.

The accident involving a white Ford Transit van and a motorcycle happened at around 7.45am on the A912 at Bridge of Earn.

As a result of the accident the northbound slip road to the M90 was closed, causing delays for motorists with local diversions in place.

Anyone who witnessed the collision take place has been asked to get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer.
